Purple Symphony

Yeah ... I think I decided on the mane of my latest crewel work : Purple Symphony .
Made some more progress on this one but I am struggling with the stitched for the ground .
I am having hard times with the wool quantity as I have a skein of each colour and by mistake I start another little project with same colour . My big problem is will take me about 2 weeks to get in the wool and time to go by to London to RSN is approaching fast , so no time!!!
Anyway I will be figuring out this weekend if I am going to pull this on or I have to do another order.

 OK ... here is a big problem which you can see in the form of a yellow mushy think around the leaf
I did not realise the lines still can be seen until I took the picture.

 And here looks like I have fixed the mushy think or I didn't?

Some of the closed Cretan stitch which will be part of the ground .
Sure this week I be finish this one.
