Back to Crewel Embroidery

I start to go back to crewel work as a way of relaxing . Ha ha ha .. never was thinking this would be possible  to relax with something which I never did in my life but yes.

 Try my hand to few fly stitches , some long and short and pechinez stitches.

 My dragonfly still need wings but he will get them after  I finish all the other motifs as the thread intended to be used is a metallic one and I don't really want to mess it

And here is the flower intended to be orange but but mistake came out to be totally brawn.
By the end I need to keep practice my stitches ... Some of them come out nice but other not so much .
